I’ve had a lot of clients and friends this summer asking me to put there up for parties, it seems the hot weather we have been having has had an influence on not just what to wear but how to wear ones hair and it’s not just for those who have long hair short hair can be whipped into different looks for evening or day.
The key hair trends for hair up do’s this summer are still a continuation of last year with some subtle additions. Still popular is vintage hair but closely followed by some emerging hair trends which I feel will be strong autumn/fall 2013, these are big bouncy messy curls.
Plumped up bouffant hair at the crown but not too over stated with neat soft chignon at the back with influences of the Byzantine era. The emphasis is on opulence and soft elegance, With this in mind using more overstated hair jewellery will notch it up for those big occasions.
Big messy curls
A favourite of mine and a bold hair look for those who party. For me the only way to achieve this look successfully is by using Marcel tongs/barrel irons, these create a more define texture to the hair and over load the volume. Every time I create this look at shows it gets the most wows and applause.
There are of course ways that this glamorous hairstyle can be personalised for you but if you are brave don’t faff around make it big.
Drop me a message or pop in to my hair salon in Frome, Bath Street salon, if you fancy trying any of the hair do’s or want your hair looking extra extra special for any event.
